If you are new to our dental office, welcome! At Pinnacle Dental, we’re all about exceeding your expectations and providing outstanding, seamless service from the moment you walk into our dental office until you checkout and leave. To help you feel more comfortable when you arrive, we’ve prepared some information that can help you know more about our process and what you’ll need to know before you see us. If you have any questions about your appointment, don’t hesitate to call our team. We’re always happy to help!
In order to help you, as well as our other patients, have a pleasant experience in our dental office, there are certain things you should know and do. For instance, we ask that you come about 10 to 15 minutes early for your first appointment. When you arrive at our dental office, our team members will greet you warmly and have you fill out some paperwork. We’ll also gather your dental insurance information for our records. When you are called back, we will likely take X-rays of your teeth and perform a dental cleaning. Then, our dentist will talk with you about your goals, needs, and other dental concerns. They will review the X-rays and thoroughly examine your teeth and gums for any oral problems. If you need additional treatment, we’ll set up an appointment that fits your schedule.
We ask that you provide certain information about yourself to help us know how we can best help you have a healthy, happy smile. Instead of filling out your new patient paperwork in our dental office, you can save time and take care of it before your appointment. This can also help ensure that the information is accurate and completed carefully without worrying about filling it out in time for your appointment to start.
Insurance coverage varies widely depending on which plan your employer has selected for you. You are encouraged to read and understand your own policy. We will gladly provide you with completed claim forms for services rendered for submission to your insurance carrier for reimbursement.
Unlike medical insurance, dental insurance is only designed to help defray the cost of dental care. The fees for dental services are generally not covered in full by insurance. As a service to our patients, we will be happy to process all claim forms for your insurance. For extensive treatment, financial arrangements may be made prior to initiation of treatment.
In order to offer our patients an affordable means of obtaining the dental treatment that they would like to have, we have partnered with Care Credit. Their simple online application and one-day processing allows our patients to fit the cost of dental treatment into their budgets.
