Digital X-Rays
X-ray technology has been around for a long time, but now we are able to take them digitally. This not only involves less radiation but is much faster to evaluate. Instead of developing the X-rays with harsh chemicals, we can see the images within minutes on our screens, expediting your diagnosis. We use Dexis digital X-rays to identify cavities, bone loss, and other issues because they are known for effectiveness and efficiency.
CBCT Scanner
As advanced as X-rays have become, they still don’t reveal the whole picture. That’s where our Morita CBCT scanner provides us with valuable information, such as the location of blood vessels and much more. For complex procedures like dental implant placement, this technology helps us plan and avoid complications. Basically, we take multiple images around your head, which allows us to create a 3D model of your oral cavity and see everything we need.
Soft Tissue Laser
Gums and other soft tissues in your mouth play a crucial role for your oral health, which is why utilize a soft tissue laser. While traditional soft tissue procedures using a scalpel are more invasive and involve more bleeding and longer healing, our LVI and diode laser make gum disease therapy and other procedures basically painless. In fact, we often don’t even need to administer a local anesthethetic! This precise laser technology gives us the ability to remove infected or damaged tissue with minimal bleeding and without sutures.
